Assessment and Evaluation
When a behavioral disorder may be present, and in cases where symptoms are reported, an assessment or evaluation is needed by a professional to determine the primary cause. Symptoms we often hear may include fatigue, insomnia, pain, anxiety, or feelings of being overwhelmed. Everyone’s symptoms and behaviors will vary, but often exhibiting these signs may be an indicator that a diagnosis and treatment is needed for an individual to live a fully functional daily life.
If you suffer from symptoms that you feel are strong indicators of a behavioral disorder, don’t minimize or ignore them. Call Catalyst Behavioral Health and schedule an appointment with one of our trained professionals.

Group counseling can be a great tool. During group sessions, small social groups which are comprised of individuals bonded with a common goal come together to learn from, and support each other. We are often able to identify strengths, patterns, and vulnerabilities.
The common purpose of group counseling may be a presenting issue, such as depression or anxiety, or a particular goal, such as increased assertiveness, or perhaps a common characteristic, such as being a teen or a single parent. Part of the power of the group process comes from the credibility afforded by experiencing common ground.
